Last I checked, much of the old Robus property in question is a wetland that will require remediation efforts.

Admin reply: It may very well be waste land but the used car salesman's friend needs to dump the property.

Hasn’t the county already been skrewed once on the Hammock property? The cost of Julie Berry Way was inflated because of faulty appraisals.

We all owe Joe Craig the used car salesman big thank you for costing the taxpayers more money for the new jail location. But his pal Tony Hammock going to make a ton of money . Bet he and Shelton and Smith all vote in favor now.

Come on people. As if the historic ordinance fiasco can't be traced directly back to Republican Huntington, two terms of Republican Welch, and complicit Republican dominated City Councils. If you want to throw the baby out with the bathwater, just remember it has been Republican administrations in our town.

Courtney sees the need to streamline the historical ordinance and make it more user friendly for the downtown homeowner. I'm a big proponent of this. Julie views it as a non-issue because she lives on the hill and doesn't feel our pain. Andrew was bamboozled on the subject long ago.

Nobody is against the historical ordinance. We just want an alternative that makes more common sense. This is what the mayors race is boils down too. We got plenty of jobs in the area for those that want one. Yes, we have a drug problem but we are no different than anyone else for this is a National crisis. Positive change is streamlining the Historic Board process.

The time is near; we have a chance to put the historical nuts and their historic ordinance in place. If these crazies are allowed to progress with their over reach of our property, soon we won't even be allowed to live in our own home.

I guarantee you that if Forrester or Julie are elected to serve as our city mayor we might as well board up our windows and move on.

Not only will Forrester and Julie allow the historical crazies take over, they will allow the G-8 and the MIDCOR crooks to raise their poisonous heads again.

Has there been any discussion by the county to pursue the hiring of an additional judge to help with the overcrowding? It seems like most of the inmates are awaiting trial. I would believe hiring a judge would cost much less than a new facility. Does anybody know?
